A new study trying to analyze which US cities are best placed to weather the strange weather that a changing climate brings, has come to some surprising conclusions. Surprisingly, Dallas was well down the list, but it even came with Houston, which would be considered one of the most weather-prone cities in the United States. Dallas - Fort Worth Metroplex is the largest metropolitan area in North America and the second largest city in Texas. The city had a population of about 1.5 million in 2010, divided into four major metropolitan areas: Dallas, Fortworth, Arlington, Houston and Austin. Houston is home to more people than any other major city, with a population of 2.7 million.
