Sushi Of Plano - (972) 612-3522

I have dined at Sushi of Plano ten times over the last 12 months. The food quality has varied from time to time. The last few times I have been there, the Sea Urchin roe has been "less than fresh". One time I received a call to come sample the "live" scallop "just in". I did indeed go and order these, but was very dissappointed by their "off" odor and taste. If they were actually alive when prepared than I am finally able to say that I have found some sushi I don't care for, but so far I have never tasted a piece of sushi that had a flavor I didn't like unless it was not truly fresh. The usual orders are OK, but not spectacular. Happy hour is a good deal if you are there on the right day. I probably won't go back anymore since in sushi...freshness is everything!

This place is pretty good. It's not the best sushi I've ever had but I don't have any complaints. Everything's fresh and the staff is nice - but the experience overall was just ok for me.

I've been going to Sushi of Plano at least twice a month for the last 4 months. It's always been very fresh and I really like the dollar sushi happy hour! I recommend this restaurant to all sushi lovers.
